Kingston Heart Clinic (KHC) is looking for a Cardiologist to join their dynamic and progressive team in Kingston, Ontario. This rewarding clinical experience offers full-time or part-time hours with flexible scheduling options to suit your lifestyle. The Cardiologist will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with cardiac and vascular diseases as well as performing diagnostic. You will also be working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care. The care team includes Cardiologist, General Internist, and cardiac care nurses. The Kingston Heart Clinic has firmly established itself as a necessary and integral part of outpatient Cardiology within Kingston and Southeastern Ontario offering a comprehensive range of testing. You will be part of an established team that understands that each patient is different and ensures that the best treatment plan is designed for everyone


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Independent Practice Certificate of Registration from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)

  • Membership in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)

  • Royal College certification in Cardiology (or pending certification)

  • US-trained specialists are exempt from The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons eligibility requirements (US Board Certified Physicians are eligible for an independent license in Ontario)

  • Internationally trained candidates who pass the subspecialty exam being launched by the CPSO (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario) will be considered

  • Medical liability insurance from the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) or equivalent required, appropriate to the category of practice
